About the Club FAQ
Q: So the Monash Physiotherapy Society hey? That sounds like a cool society to join!
A: It certainly does and is! In fact you should join right now!
Q: Don't tell me what to do. Why should I? What is this club?
A: Well, the Monash Physiotherapy Society (or MPS for the social elite) is a student run club based at Monash Univerisity's Peninsula campus. It had its first AGM on the 29th of August at....
Q: Yawn.
A: Hey you asked. Don't interrupt.
Q: Sorry. Please go on with your riveting tale.
A: Thank you. Anyways as I was saying it had its first AGM on the 29th of August at the Seahorse Tavern on the Peninsula Campus, where committee members were elected. It's goal is to give Physiotherapy students an enjoyable and valuable time at uni whilst studying.
Q: You still haven't told me a decent reason to join..
A: Slow down I'm getting there. The MPS wants to provide students with activities to distract from sometimes draining uni work. Thus they organise things such as a Ball, an after-exam party and BBQ's.
Q: A Ball, an after exam party and some BBQ's? Is that all you did in 2006?
A: Give us a break we were only running for 2 months. And that two months was when exams were about to start and assignments were piling up. We have big plans for 2007.
Q: Like what? What can we expect from the MPS in 2007?
A: Wonder! Excitement! And... wonder! Some of the activities we'd like to get happening this year include things such as Booze Cruises, a Ball, Multiple Parties, BBQ's! It's a great time to be a physio student!
Q: That's what I like to hear!
A: I know! That's why I said it!
Q: Well this society is sounding cooler by the minute! I'd like to become a member!
A: Go to this FAQ to find out how this amazing miracle can be done.
Q: More than that! I'd like to become a committee member! How can I do this?
A: Well every year there is an AGM where you can be nominated to a specific position. You get to give a speech and everything!
Q: Cool. I'll start writing that speech right now.
A: You do that.
